Bangkok, 3 February 2025 – Experience a culinary symphony of Thai and Japanese flavours as Ki Izakaya at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and TAAN Bangkok at Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok come together for an exclusive Four-Hand Dinner Series. These two distinctive venues bring their unique identities—Ki Izakaya’s lively, vibrant atmosphere and TAAN’s refined fine-dining approach—to create two exceptional evenings of gastronomic discovery.
Ki Izakaya will host the first evening on Friday, 28 February 2025, showcasing the culinary talents of Chef Satoshi Sawada from Ki and Chef Thep from TAAN. Guests will be treated to a thoughtfully curated set menu blending the bold essence of izakaya with intricate fine-dining techniques, spotlighting the chefs’ shared commitment to sustainability, ingredient innovation, and creative excellence.
The celebration continues on Friday, 7 March 2025, as TAAN Bangkok takes the reins, offering a refined perspective of this unique collaboration. The menus for both events emphasise an ecoconscious approach, with carefully sourced local ingredients and inventive culinary techniques. Complementing the evening’s exquisite culinary offerings, the beverage pairing will feature an Page 2 of 3 artful selection of Sake and Sato—carefully curated to enhance the interplay of Thai and Japanese flavours on each plate.
Menu Highlights:
Ki Izakaya (28 February 2025): Srang-wa Kawahaki, Lhon Taraba Crab Oyster Aspic, Khai Look Khoei Onsen Egg, and more exciting creations that reflect the interplay of contrasting styles while celebrating Thai and Japanese traditions.
TAAN Bangkok (7 March 2025): Thai Chirashi, Shio Koji Fresh Ankimo – Charcoaled, Khao Makh, A4 Aged Wagyu Sirloin, and Hot Starter – Chilled Chawanmushi Brûlée with Tom-Klong and Smoked River Prawn, which embody the refined elegance of TAAN’s fine-dining philosophy.
