[Recap] FTCC ESG Committee's “Air We Share: Understanding Air Quality and its Effect on our Health Webinar
On 25 February 2025, FTCC hosted an insightful online seminar, organized by the FTCC ESG Committee, to explore the critical topic of air quality and its profound impact on health.
The session started with an opening address by the ESG Committee Chairman, Martin Dilly, introducing the importance of air quality in our daily lives.
Session #1 Outdoor Air Quality
Dr. Jošt V. Lavrič, Product Manager for Scientific Products at Acoem, shared his expertise on outdoor air quality, highlighting the global challenges and potential solutions.
Session #2 Indoor Air Quality
Angela Bejarano, Global Sustainability Consultant at Terao Asia, discussed the significance of indoor air quality, focusing on how it affects both workplaces and homes.
Session #3 Health Effects of Air Pollution
Dr. Padungkiat Tangpiroontham, Thoracic Surgeon at Bangkok Hospital, talked about the health consequences of air pollution, offering valuable advice on how to protect ourselves.
We concluded the webinar with the Q&A session, moderated by Patrice Pishedda, Managing Director at Acoem Thailand, allowed participants to engage directly with our expert speakers.
