Dr. Uracha R. Ruktanonchai is currently an Executive Director of National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) Thailand.

Her education background is Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Nottingham, UK

She has received prestigious recognitions including 

• the UNESCO-L’Oreal Women in Science award
• a Fellow of The Royal Society of Chemistry, UK
• the UK Alumni Award for Professional Achievement from the British Embassy
• noted as one of the top 2% most cited scientists in her field.
